Google Chrome finally made its way over to the Mac
and Linux earlier this week, more than a year after
its original release for Windows.
The Web browser made waves when it was released in September 2008, as it marked the company’s first step into a territory that’s largely been held by Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Firefox. In its first year, Chrome has made a considerable mark on the Web browser field, and has already outpaced established browsers such as Apple’s Safari and Opera Software’s Opera.
